“We do not seek to impose any system of government on any other nation,”
“But we also don’t believe that the principles that we stand for are unique to our nation. These freedoms of expressions and worship, of access to information and political participation, we believe are universal rights.”
All men are created equal..(全ての人は平等の権利があり、
"That is why America will speak out those core principles around the world."
Thomas L. Friedman
If we become weak by economic decline and debt, as we slowly are, America may not be able to play its historic stabilizing role in the world. If you didn’t like a world of too-strong-America, you will really not like a world of too-weak-America — where China, Russia and Iran set more of the rules.

Social Media Revolution
Everyone is connected.
Years to reach 50 million users. (5000
Radio : 38 years
TV: 13 years
Internet: 4 years
I pod: 3 years
(Facebook=
If facebook were a country, it would be the world's 4th largest.
China's Qzone has 300 million users.
One out of every 8 couples married in the US met via Social media.
80% of Twitter usage is on the mobile device people update anywhere and anytime.
Imagine what that means for bad customer experiences.
(Twitterとは「What are you doing?(今、何をしてる?)」

All world's a stage.
NY Times (New York
Level the playing field---to give everyone the same advantages or opportunities
Check it out!!

What are viral videos?

Health Care Reform
Public Option

Up against a wall of debt
Newsweek. Robert J. Samuelson
The idea that the government of a major advanced country would default on its debt—that is, tell lenders that it won't repay them all they're owed—was, until recently, a preposterous proposition. Argentina or Russia might stiff their creditors, but surely not the likes of the United States, Japan, or Great Britain. Well, it's still a very, very long shot, but it's no longer entirely unimaginable. Governments of rich countries are borrowing so much that it's conceivable that one day the twin assumptions underlying their burgeoning debt (that lenders will continue to lend and that governments will continue to pay) might collapse. What happens then?

Berlusconi

Time magazine
More than 20 years after he transformed Italian TV, Berlusconi is Prime Minister for the third time; he has already served longer in the office than anyone since 1946.
"Berlusconi changed the culture of Italy before he changed the politics of it"
"He introduced a culture of luxury and sex, one entirely different from the traditions of austerity promoted by Catholicism and the communists.

Cook books are the publishers cash cow.
